The Color is Oxblood

Oxblood πŸ‚ in Autumn! A deep 🍷 wine colored burgundy that exudes warmth and a tone for the season. Not everyday will you be in the mood for a dark rich pigmented color that looks like you ate many plums and dowsed yourself in cranberry juice! I’m here to let you know this is one sexy color if you can wear it right. There is deep hints of black from a distance but up close there’s an array of dark reds that bleed through. Not only in cosmetics do you find this rich Oxblood pigment; but many use it for home decor and art sculptures. It is the Autumn/Fall season approaching now with all the different shades of oranges, gold’s, browns and burgundy sort of like the hues of leaves in fashion. In Fall you will always find Oxblood.

Enriched in its own splendor as The Sun gives relief and the climate cools down I’m rooting for Oxblood. Lips, eyeshadow and nails will be drenched in this fun Fall color. Now that I’ve grown into Oxblood a bit I’m wanting to pull out the crochet yarn and needle and entangle this color into warm cozy knits for the season.

So as Autumn heats up give the hues a try especially Oxblood πŸ‚ the deep daring color with a bold statement awaits.
